I am an assistant Professor of Gujarati literature. Gujarati is a major language of india spoken by over 60 million people. Gujarati has a rich tradition of literature going back to over 1000 years. My research interests are folk lore and medieval oral narratives and contemporary media narratives. I have authored many books and am proud recipient of awards for my critical studies from the sahitya akademi the official academy of letters in Gujarat.
I am also interested in the comparative studies of European narratives. - Country
