You can add news via the option "Add content" --> "news", or directly via http://www.narratology.net/node/414#overlay=node/add/news
Please use the button/field "paste from word" in order to filter out the Microsoft code from the news (if applicable).
You can add an attachment or an image in the fields at the bottom of the field. Please select the appropriate "news" category ("CFP" or other types of information) via the drop-down menu for better filtering. Taxonomy type: please select the newsletter with the highest available number.
Standard "publishing settings" for news are that they get published and "promoted on the front page". So preview and be careful to check spelling prior to pushing the "publish" button.
The obvious advantage of posting news yourself is that news can be shared faster and without intervention of an administrator, and also with non-ENN-members, while still safe (ENN members only are allowed to post). In addition, the information is ready to be added to the newsletter and can be trasnmitted in a GPDR-compliant, html-friendly format. Messages can feature an attachment (both used to be stripped by ENN's old mailing list).
Users can also add bibliographical references, via upload of BibTex references or manually. Please link the item's author to your ENN account via the drop-down list.
