Narratological interest

I work in cognitive narratology. I'm mainly interested in the way second-generation, embodied approches to cognition can shed light on the reader's engagement with narratives (and literary narratives in particular). I also aim to develop an integrative account of interpretation, where I place both the reader's low-level simulations of a storyworld and the reader's higher-level conceptualizations of the "aboutness" of a story on an experiential continuum.
