My PhD thesis employed reader response, which of course involves narratology. I have also written conference papers on the subject, such as “‘God knows I speak true:’ narrators, gender, and the truth in William Morris’s ‘The Defense of Guinevere.'“ My current work is moving into the subject of national narrative, which will entail more detailed work on narratology.
