Narratological interest

My field of academic interest spans a wide range of topics from narratology (esp. cognitive and interdisciplinary/medial narratology) to cultural
anthropology and cultural studies. I recently graduated with a M.A. in
English and American/ Latin American studies from the University of Potsdam.
The topic of my final thesis dealt with the "retelling" of an indigenous Chilean folk narrative by various Chilean narrators in their construction of identities/realities. The narrators were specifically chosen to represent a wide range of narrative methods/mediums (written, installations, performance and various internet based methods).
Since the field of narratology will once again serve as a research approach in my doctoral dissertation (Iam currently working on establishing the exact parameters/topics of my thesis), I hope to become a member of the EEM and thereby be able to stay on the cutting-edge of narratological developments.
