Narratological interest

I am pursuing PhD from CMR University. My area of interest is social media. I propose to study the narrative form used on Facebook in India. I have earlier conducted a study on Facebook Confession pages in India. The report of the study is available at I propose to use text mining tools and sentiment analysis tools which will provide the theme of the narratives. The narrative structure which is seen in the profile and the news feed are two distinct forms. Both can be studied as individual narrations. This study will help to bring the rising complications in narrative studies and the vanishing lines between various forms of narratives.
