I am a PhD student interested in children’s literature. Using Unnatural Narratology as a theoretical framework, I am investigating the use of folktales as a traditional raw material for writing children’s fiction as well as the literary outlook this fusion (of the ancient with the modern) brings to bear on the juvenile literature.
