Narratological interest

The working title of my current research of Paradigms of Remembrance in Contemporary British Novels, and it focuses on the different narratological devices employed in discussions of remembrance, trauma, forgetting. Memory has become a key issue in contemporary fiction, thus its thorough investigation from a narratological perspective bears great importance for current studies. I focus on the various aspects of character, their conceptualization, narration, point of view, embodiment conveyed in a narrative, etc.
