Narratological interest

Starting from a vast corpus of musical novels, I study the variety of narratological techniques used by authors to represent the perception and translation of musical narrativity by human consciousness into words. More specifically, I look at the ways in which intermedial frames and associations structure and affect human multimodal imagination and cognition in the perception of literature and music.
