Matias Nurminen (MA) is PhD Candidate in Comparative Literature and Coordinator of Narrare, Centre for Interdisciplinary Narrative Studies at the University of Tampere. He is currently working as Junior Project Researcher in the research project Dangers of Narrative: Contemporary Story-Critical Narratology (funding from the Kone Foundation 2017–2020). In his PhD Project "Narrative Warfare. Strategic Narratives in Seduction Culture and the Antifeminist Manosphere" Nurminen maps out the mechanics of seduction, the tradition of seduction narratives and how radical masculinity movements (the manosphere) are connected and fuelled by this tradition.
