My phd-research was focussed on the interlink between narratology and historiography. In my thesis i have developped a model to describe, analyse and evaluate narrative strategies of visual representation in historical novels as a product of a coevolutive intermedial process between the demands of a "new" way to write history as well as the upcoming of the new visual media such as early photography and film.
