'Non Human Narratives' is the follow up to the Narrative Research Group's first and highly successful 'Keeping it Real' Symposium. Exploring representations of the non human, the symposium will feature papers on the following subjects:

Conference "Space in Literature: Questioning Space in Fiction"

The conference will take place in Amsterdam, 26-27 May 2011. The goal of this conference is to bring together classicts and modern literary theorists on the concept of space. A more detailed introduction to the conference’s can be found here.

Under the terms of the ENN Constitution adopted in January 2009 in Hamburg, the three members of the Steering Committee are elected for two years and are eligible for re-election to a second term of two years, with one-third of the members retiring at each election.

Summer School

‘Narrative Theories in Action’ is an Intensive Programme in Narratology (IPIN), designed to meet the needs of students interested in a brief but challenging educational experience during the summer.

The school takes place in Aarhus, Denmark from the 8th-19rd of August 2011. Prior schools took place in 2009 and 2010, each with more than 35 students.
